This was an odd guy that I worked on toward the end of my challenge. I had intended to do more of these collage mash ups but time got away from me. I do have fun with these...re-inventing old plein air paintings into new urban abstractions...
Taking an old plein air painting and bringing a new life to it challenges me in different ways and the outcome is always surprising! I'm very drawn to the idea of taking something old and making it new again. You can read more about that in a blog I wrote.
