Spring has Sprung and Plein Air is BACK!

      Easter is a time for renewal as is Spring. This Easter week Spring has arrived in full force with warm sun and spring blooms a blooming! I know folks have been missing my plein air paintings. Well, the wait is OVER! I went out for my FIRST painting session this week. As usual, it felt a bit awkward but the only way to fix that is to paint more! I went out the following day and I plan on going out tomorrow as well.
     This is all in preparation for my 1st plein air event in quite a while; River Towns Plein Air 2022 in Marietta, PA.. I applied for this event because there are urban scenes. I'm pleased to have been juried in and excited to meet these other painters, many I don't know yet

 I'm headed up next week to paint for a few days. Tune into my instagram account to follow along with what I'm doing! It's been a while since I've done one of these events. Getting all my panels ready...just being tuned up and ready to paint is a lot to do. Well, I've gotten out this week and I admit to feeling a bit rusty. That is about normal though and the only remedy is PAINT MORE!
