Painted near Logan Circle in Philadelphia, PA in 2016
10 x 10 oil painting
I had been to this area to paint with a group. I wanted to get into Philadelphia more often to paint, thinking it had more fodder for painting subjects. Sometimes my adventuresome spirit wanes—and altho I did get into Philly to paint I was not up for traipsing about the area, towing my gear, in search of a painting. I pulled into this inexpensive parking lot and decided to paint what was right in front of me. I like the cool green building in the distance, the pink of the front left the building and the narrow alley with the pylons.
