This won a Special Award in the Quick Draw at River Towns Plein Air 2024! It was a cold and VERY windy day. Many artists chose to paint in their cars. I'd chosen this scene the day before and was lucky enough to be able to use my car as a wind buffer!
In a Quick Draw, you have 2 hours to paint, then 30 minutes after that you have to turn in your framed painting!
