ABOUT THE ORIGINAL PAINTING:
Painting this landmark was the perfect way to start the plein air 2023 season. Although I did one of this location, I wanted to try another view and felt this landmark deserved another viewpoint! It was such a beautiful spring day...the light was wonderful on this old fellow.
It's sad that this icon just closed it's doors but I know its going to live in the memories of many for decades to come.
