The Wilmington Riverfront is an interesting subject because very little of it is actually riverfront. It also is continually being built up. This painting was done a few years ago before the building really kicked in. I went to paint this view again this past summer and the trees are so much bigger you can’t see much past one or two of them…really no view at all anymore! So glad I captured this when I did because I do think it is a sweet little painting.
