My 1st inspiration when plein air painting was Wilmington Riverfront and Shipley street. Shipley Street is the back side of the main street buildings so it has fire escapes, trash cans, electrical wires and boxes….all that good stuff. This view is a wonderful old church on one of the corners. I decided to play with some color too and love the way it turned out. Prints are available of this one too!
