This was a plein air painting that had been hanging around for a couple years. Some collage and additional paint has brought it new life!
Taking an old painting and bringing a new life to it challenges me and the outcome is always surprising! In truth, it doesn't always work out. All the more reason to celebrate when it does!
I'm very drawn to the idea of taking something old and making it new again. You can read more about that in a blog I wrote.
