So this is version #3 of this artwork. I decided to just have some fun with it! I never was happy with the original plein air painting. i kept picking at it, then throwing some collage at it. Now I finally got it. I'm liking the whimsy...:)
Taking an old plein air painting and bringing a new life to it challenges me in different ways and the outcome is always surprising! I'm very drawn to the idea of taking something old and making it new again. You can read more about that in a blog I wrote.
