As in any downtown area the buildings close in and there are small pieces of sky pop through. This piece of sky is one that I see often and I like it's shape, especially the narrow sliver. As you are driving or walking this way this big ole piece of blue sky just seems to call out. It's very calming and peaceful.
This is my second painting of this scene. I did a smaller version... 10th st_Sky a while back.
