During Paint the Town Malvern I had eyed this scene but the weather was not being very cooperative. Rainy, gray and a bit chilly. I checked the forecast and saw that the last day of painting, Sunday, was supposed to be sunny and warm. So I bided my time, got up early on Sunday and got set up. I was so glad I had waited because the light was beautiful and I had a fantastic time painting this scene. And this painting ended up winning The Spirit of Malvern Award too!
