These strip malls are in every community; seem to be on just about every corner. This one is up the road from my house and I have been studying it for some time. One day I decided to tackle it as a subject. The poles in the foreground help give the painting some depth. I think the trees break up the horizontal plane nicely and soften the picture up too.
